Dear Mr. Lyon,
Recently I had the privedgle of working with one of your Realtor's Susan Hyland.
My reason for contacting you is simple .
Susan did what I thought I was going to get from two previous Realtor's who had had my home up for Sale since Jan 6,2006. They promised me the moon, signed me up, put my house on MLS and then waited for someone else to sell it .
This is not simple since most Realtor's are doing the same thing. They feel "Open House's are a waste of time " when they could be signing up other homeowners and waiting for someone to sell the homes they have listed.
Many buyers drive in an area they are interested in-see a house then talk to a Realtor. If the house is Open it's better for the home owner and the buyer. Someday the interested parties are going to realize they do all the work and some Realtor get a check for almost no work.
That is what was so great about your Realtor Susan, she actually worked on my house. I hope she never lose's the enthusiasm she has. I don't think she will.
The fact that your Realtor had an offer on my house in 14 days and gave my home the total exposure that was needed was a very important factor in my home being sold.
I believe Susan took my listing on a Tuesday and called that same eveing to ask if she could come by Friday and put up a sign. I was confused until she told me that Friday after work traffic is important so that everyone will be come aware of the home's area in the event they are house looking the next day.
Many Buyers drive in an area they are interested in -see a home and then have the opportunitly to ask the Realtor questions if the home is Opened. This is good for both home owner and buyer. On the day of my first Open House I returned home for a personal reason. Not until then had I had the opportutnuyty to hear Susan talk to people. The misfortune of hearing both former Realtor's at my other two Open House and each not being able to answer important question in regards to my home's Utilitily Bills was disconcerting to say the least. Listening to Susan that day retrieve all the facts and details that we had talked about earlier concerning these bills was amazing. Details I had given the two other Realtor's but different results! The difference was that Susan was not only prepared but really worked my home. I told her she gave everyone the $50.00 tour!! She didn't just follow but led the pack with ;positive feedback.
I might also mention that the couple who bought my home had a Realtor who was not involved with the buyers finding the place. Your Realtor combined with good information made the sell. My buyer's Realtor did nothing but collect a check. My home was on MLS. What was the problem? My home was tucked back in a Cul-de-Sac. My buyer's informed me they had been looking in my area ,so why didn't the buyers Realtor connect the buyer's to my home? Susan alone "Marketed" my home.
Not only was Susan advailable but most importanty she assured me that your Company Russ Lyon would be there to dot all the " i's " and cross all the "t's" so that things would flow correctly. I was also in contact with two Russ Lyon employee's who continually let me know what was transpiring. Very efficient.
